We’re pleased to confirm that the following feature updates are available in Benchmark Universe now:

Select a Custom Date Range in Plan & Teach

Users can now select a custom date range for created plans when filtering their Standards reports in Plan & Teach.

Contact Us

Users can now contact Benchmark Universe technical support through the menu without leaving the platform.

New Plan & Teach Features

Teachers and administrators can now create a plan, associate it to a class, and set an instructional start date. Also, customers can view their plans and standards in a new sidebar menu for easy navigation.

Additionally, new customization features are now available. Teachers and administrations now have the ability to modify a plan by moving a lesson or block non-teaching days.

Updated Terms of Use

We’ve made an update to our Terms of Use.

Enhanced Teacher Reading Log & Book Reviews

Access your class and student reading progress and engagement with a brand new reading log. Use it to track the number of books read, approve optional book reviews, and encourage consistent reading habits! This replaces your previous reading log and book reviews pages into one seamless place to monitor student reading.

Updated Privacy Policy

We’ve made an update to our Privacy Policy.

Teacher & Admin Dashboard & Menu

Preview your new data-filled dashboard by selecting New on the bottom, right of your screen. You can see upcoming assignments and those recently past due, with a direct link to grading. See real-time standards performance, favorite programs, and more. Customize the page so you see what's most important to you first! You can also go back to seeing your classic dashboard if you like.

Student Dashboard, Menu & Reading Log

Students have a new, engaging dashboard where they can quickly access active assignments and continue reading independently chosen books.

Students now have an improved way of tracking the books they are reading either as part of an assignment or chosen from their library in a newly designed Reading Log. Students can rate books to mark them complete and then give them an optional written review that teachers approve.

The newly designed student menu gives students access to all of their applications in BU.

Grading Assistant Autograde (Beta Version)

The Grading Assistant is a time-saver for teachers! The Grading Assistant tool automatically scores students’ written responses for short-answer and extended writing prompts.

New Custom Downloads Enhancements

Administrators can now select tests to be included in their eAssessment downloads! This applies to Standards Performance and Test Scores file formats. Check out the Custom Test Selector to learn more.
